Armação dos Búzios, or just Búzios, is a resort town in Rio de Janeiro located in the Lakes Region. In 1964, when Brigitte Bardot visited Búzios, the town was called the Brazilian St. Tropez. The same beauty, same nature, and same charm with a slightly more tropical touch while keeping the French charm. Initially, Búzios was a faraway village of fishermen with twenty-three beaches bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Today, Búzios offers, besides the tourist spots, a rich gastronomy site, fashion, deco and art.

Things to do in Búzios: You can start your day early with the beautiful sunrise from the beach or from the trails. The day continues at the beach. Each beach has its own features for all preferences and activities. The town has many trails that are great for walking, running and biking. From the touristic gazebos, you can have a wide view of the town and know how beautiful it is! Besides the beautiful nature, the town has a variety of local restaurants of all types and a variety of stores. Along the famous "Rua das Pedras" (cobble-stone street) and the Bardot Strip in the center of the town, evolve local restaurants, bars, clubs and stores. The tour is good for any time of the day. The Porto da Barra has a famous sunset and it’s a must go. The restaurants and stores are very charming and are located by Manguinhos beach which has an unique ambience!
